Baby Carriers and Slings

Nowadays, multi-tasking is at its prime. There are so many things to get done and only so many hours in a day to do them. While "wearing" your baby, you can have two free hands to do household chores, shop, or corral your older child! Baby carriers have simply become a must-have for today's busy parents.

While some baby carriers are designed to hold a child in only one position (i.e., front only or back-pack style only), the newest trend in baby carriers is to allow the parent to wear their child in multiple ways. The Ergo is one such product. The Ergo can be worn on the front, back, or hip and easily fits most adult sizes. Babies are kept safe, comfortable, and secure against Mom or Dad.

This carrier has a multitude of extras, including padded shoulder straps and lumbar support to make carrying the weight of your child more comfortable. The Ergo includes an attached sleeping hood that supports your sleeping baby's head and even has a convenient pocket on the back that allows for easy access to keys or other necessities. With the infant insert, this baby carrier is recommended for use with newborns and can be used with children all the way up to 40 pounds. That is a lot of use!

So what is it missing? The one thing the Ergo does not do is allow your baby to ride in the front, facing out. While all newborns and younger babies without adequate head support must ride facing inwards to support their wobbly heads, many older babies prefer to face outwards to see the world! Of course these children could ride in the Ergo on their parent's back or hip, but sometimes it is nice to have your baby in the front, facing outwards.

Overall, the Ergo is top-notch and most everyone who owns one raves about it.
